Abstract

In line and guided by Malaysia's National Cultural Policy which is based on culture in the Malay Archipelago (Malay Archipelago) and Islam is an important element, the Melaka Historical City Municipal Council has taken the effort to make the Nusantara Drum Festival (PGN) a success for the first time in this region on 1995. PGN focuses on the performance of various types of drums in the region of Alam Melayu and is a well -known and well -known Heritage Media tool until now.


Selaras dan berpandukan Dasar Kebudayaan Kebangsaan Malaysia yang berteraskan budaya di rantau Alam Melayu (Kepulauan Melayu atau Nusantara) dan Islam menjadi unsur penting, maka Majlis Perbandaran Melaka Bandaraya Bersejarah telah mengambil daya usaha menjayakan Pesta Gendang Nusantara (PGN) buat pertama kalinya di rantau ini pada 1995. PGN memberi tumpuan kepada persembahan pelbagai jenis gendang yang berada di rantau Alam Melayu dan is sebagai alat Media Warisan yang mantap dan terkenal sehingga sekarang.
