Abstract

The 4P concept put forward by McCarthy is fundamental to the field of marketing strategy. The four P's are product, price, promotion, and physical distribution. These four elements are factors that can be controlled by an organization. As such, it is these 4Ps that will determine the success or failure of the organization’s marketing program.

Konsep 4P yang dikemukakan oleh McCarthy merupakan asas terhadap strategi bidang pemasaran. Empat P yang dimaksudkan itu ialah barangan keluaran (product), harga (price), promosi (promotion), dan pengedaran (physical distribution). Keempat-empat elemen itu merupakan faktor yang boleh dikawal oleh sesebuah organisasi. Dengan demikian, 4P inilah yang akan menentukan kejayaan atau kegagalan program pemasaran organisasi tersebut.
